We've had some of our hottest days for the year (OMG its only february!) theres been some nice storms too, but very little rain. Our little creek is still running.
- We are starting our upgrades to our "Welcome to Running Creek" area at the kiosk. The tractor is broken and thats holding us up, but we cant wait to show you what we have planned!
-Jen met up with Nicole from Eco-Biz and had a great day talking all things sustainable and ecofriendly. we cant wait to see what they have come up with to help us achieve our eco friendly goals.

Sunday 5th March 2023 Heritage Diesel Running Day @ Margaret Street, Woodford, QLD, AustraliaTrain rides from 10am till 3.30pm, with a lunch break 12.30 till 1.30pm.2023 Fares: Adults $8 / Seniors $6 / Kids $5 (5yr-15yr old) / 4 years old & under FREE. / Family $30Trips take approximately 15 minutes so simply turn up to ride, no booking required. EFTPOS available, however cash preferred.

We are all very excited to announce that this years Spooky Family Fun night will be held on Saturday the 28th October!*Pumpkin carving competition – Get creative! Carve up your pumpkins at your site. It doesn't have to be a traditional pumpkin :)*Best dressed Spooky Pet! - Dress up your pet in their spookiest best!*Costume competition – 3 spooky categories to choose from!Spooky Movies – Come dressed as your favourite spooky, scary or horror film character.Classic Spooks – Come dressed as a Zombies,Vampires, Witches, Wizards, skeleton or GhostsCartoon Characters and Misc – Come dressed as any character you like or get creative!*Trick or treat – Every ones favourite part of the night! Go for a trick or treat around the camp sites! This is the best time to check out the decorated sites and make your vote! Please be respectful when visiting sites and taking candy, there will be plenty for everyone if we all share :) Best Spooky Decorated site – Who will win this years Spookiest Site Trophy?! *Decorate your site by 5pm! Spooky Campers will each have a voting card to pick their favourite sites, voting cards need to be in the voting box at the office before 7pm.
#ProTip - When decorating your site, you may want to create a small area to decorate to give a bigger overall effect, rather than trying to decorate your whole camp site ;) This will keep people focused on your amazing creations!The amazing Stanmore Rural fire brigade will be joining us again this year with their mouth watering cook up! Lets all help them raise some much needed funds for their brigade! Cant wait to see whats on the menu this year! (To Be confirmed)Special treats will also be available at the office – Fairy Floss, Slushies, Ice blocks and more.
